We gladly hosted Washington correspondent journalist Anıl Sural and his journalist wife Rona Doğan Sural at the MÜSİAD Texas Branch.
At the event held at MÜSİAD Texas, a special award was presented to Anıl Sural and Rona Doğan Sural for their contributions to Turkish-American relations and the journalism profession.
MÜSİAD Texas President Selçuk Kaya praised the Sural couple’s achievements in journalism and their impact on the Turkish community. Anıl Sural is known not only for his journalism activities in Washington but also for the projects he carries out for the Turkish-American community. Sural is also the author of the book “Neden Geldim Amerika’ya, Amerika’da İz Bırakan Türkler” This book, which is the first of its kind featuring successful Turkish immigrants in the US, has received awards and commendations from many Governors, Mayors, and state institutions.
During the event, speeches were made about the couple’s inspiring careers and the projects they have carried out for the benefit of the community.
Following the award ceremony, the Sural couple met with the participants to exchange views on the future of the Turkish-American community and the importance of the journalism profession.
The award ceremony was an important step for the Turkish community to come together and unite around common values.
